Lori is the president of the Ramona Bowl in Hemet, California, home of the famous outdoor pageant, Ramona.
As the leader of all the civic-minded folks who make that event possible each year, Lori has seen the historic value of the Ramona fresco painted in 1942 by Milford Zornes and his students at the Otis Art Institute. It was originally a floor to ceiling piece but sometime after the 1970s when the building housing the fresco was renovated and turned into the museum which it is today, the bottom 5 feet of the fresco was whitewashed over and cabinets put in front of it. She is working closely with Hal & Maria Baker to restore it to its original glory. Together they are looking for donors to help with the cost of restoration.
